Young man dies playing Wii Fit

31 March 2009

A 25 year old British man has reportedly died moments after playing Nintendo’s Wii fit.

Just moments after playing the jogging level of the popular fitness orientated game, Tim Eves reportedly collapsed and died in front of his girlfriend Emma Tuck and friend Lewis Hickin.

The two desperately tried to revive Eves, but the man was reported dead on arrival at the hospital.

It is believed that Eves was a victim of Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome, or SADS.

Eves was a fit and healthy young man who enjoyed cycling, fishing and drumming in a rock band and was also a scout leader. SADS is known to strike in fit, young and apparently healthy individuals, and is made up of a series of genetic heart conditions.
