Following the announcement of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Konami have finally released a new video, along with some details for the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The new trailer shows a lot of unseen gameplay footage, which highlights the “lightning-bolt action” that the game was slapped with.
Raiden is shown doing what he does best, as he slices through enemies, walls, tanks, and basically anything that he can get his sword into.
Another feature shown is Raiden’s ‘Ninja Run’, which affords him the ability to dash over and around objects for an evasive manoeuvre or to get a tactical advantage in combat.
The trailer reveals that the game is slated for an early 2013 release period, and Konami have confirmed that the game will be playable at E3.
Being developed by Platinum Games (Vanquish, Bayonetta), MGR: Revengeance is set to up-the-ante in terms of action for the series.
