Star Wars DLC ‘unleashed’

The first of two DLCs for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are being released today on both Xbox Live and the PSN network.

The update, titled “The Tatooine Mission Pack”, finds the apprentice from The Force Unleashed traveling to the desert planet to wage battle with both Jawa and the Jedi.

The DLC will be included in the Force Unleashed: Sith Edition, with an exclusive Hoth- themed mission, which is due to be released on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac later this year.

The DLC is currently available on Xbox Live for 800ms points ($8) and will shortly be available on the PSN network.

It is not yet clear whether the update will remain available to South African users or whether it will be removed due to Microsoft’s outlying territory policy.

Currently Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is the best selling game in the franchise having sold over one million copies in its first month.
