Take-Two CEO Ben Feder has announced that the company is hard at work developing motion sensitive games for the upcoming Xbox 360 Project Natal and the PS3 Motion Control systems which were announced at this year’s E3 conference reports IGN.
“Yes, we have dev kits, and yes we are working on them. Obviously can’t comment on the games we haven’t announced,” he said. “Those dev kits are embedded in just about all of our studios and everybody is working with them to try to figure out new ways in which we can innovate and create the kind of content this company is famous for.”
Take-Two is a subsidiary owner of Rockstar Games and 2K Games and is collectively responsible for series such as Grand Theft Auto, Bioshock and Civilisation.
Although the release of these motion control systems is still some way off, the gaming world has remained relatively quiet regarding the development of motion sensitive titles for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
If company promises are anything to go by, these systems will be far more advanced and precise than that of the Wii platform. This will allow players to better experience motion control in High Definition.
