Minutes after we published this article, Robert Bowling confirmed via his Twitter account that the below conversation image was a fake.

If recent rumors are to be believed, then not only will the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 be delayed, but the entire project may be pushed back until early December.
The rumors stem from an image of an apparent chat conversation between Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling (fourzerotwo) and an unnamed person. The image was posted on the Codnation forums, and the poster claims that it was given to him by a ‘trustworthy source’.
It is worth noting that faking such a conversation or image would be remarkably easy, and we should therefore consider the rumor with skepticism. However, it could just as easily be legitimate.
The PC version of the game has already been pushed back to an unconfirmed release date, however, many retailers, and indeed our own local distributor, have announced that it will arrive on November 24, just two weeks after the console versions are scheduled for release.
According to the dialogue, the game may be delayed due to a number of unforeseen problems which have cropped up in the physics engine.
It is doubtful whether Bowling would share such sensitive information with an untrustworthy source so freely.
Furthermore, it seems odd that Bowling does not ask the recipient of the information to keep it to themselves.
These factors detract from the credibility of the rumor.
