Brutal Legend DLC announced

28 October 2009

EA has announced a DLC pack called ‘Tears of the Hextadon’ which Brutal Legend owners will be able to download next month.

The extra content will include tow new multiplayer maps.

Developer Double Fine’s president Tim Schafer declared in a press statement “I play Brutal Legend online every night, and I need more maps! Circle of Tears is named after the crying of my vanquished foes on the battlefield, and Death’s Fjord is obviously a tribute to my Nordic ancestors, and their love of fan geysers and… Well, actually I just thought the name was cool. See you online!”

The DLC will also include a new axe; the Blade of Ormagoden.

The DLC will be available over Xbox Live on November 3 for 400 MS points (R53). The best way to buy MS points in SA is through MSpoints.co.za.

PS3 users will have to wait an extra two days for the DLC, and will be able to download the new content on November 5. The DLC will be free on PSN until November 19, after which it will cost around R40.
