Nintendo announces bigger screen DSi

Nintendo Japan today announced the next iteration of its portable console series, the DSi LL.

The DSi LL sports the same hardware and basic functionality as the regular DSi, with the exception that its screen size has been increased from 3.23 inches, to 4.2 inches. Additionally, the bundled stylus is also longer than the regular DS’.

The console has only been announced for the Japanese market as of now, and it remains to be seen if and when Nintendo launches it to the western market.
The new device will hit Japanese retailers on November 21, and will cost ¥20,000(R1650).
