Square Enix has launched a countdown teaser site for a new game which will be revealed next week.
The site has a rather blue picture of space with the word “Star” featured casually in the top corner. Cryptically, Square Enix is sticking to “Secret Title” for now, but the setup currently points to a possible new entry in the Star Ocean series.
What other Square Enix game series is out there that has to do with stars and space?
While there’s obviously no solid guarantee of what the game will be, Siliconera did point out that Square Enix recently trademarked “Star Galaxy”, which points to…well nothing more than what we already speculate, really.
Most media have pinned the game at something in Star Ocean universe, though most speculate that it’s probably not a typical title and may even be a social game. Ewwwww.
I guess we will have to wait until next week to find out.
