Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIII will be released on western shores for PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 9, 2010. The Japanese version of the game will be launched this year on December 17.
The sci-fi RPG was first revealed at E3 in 2006. The March 9 release date applies to both the US and the European launch.
The game will be released on multiple disks for Xbox 360, and a single Blu-ray disk for PS3.
