The final chapter in Telltale Games’ adventure series Tales of Monkey Island will be officially released on PC on the 8th of December the company announced today.

“Rise of the Pirate God,” also known as Chapter 5, will reportedly be the “grand finale” and promises to answer “many vexing questions,” such as the fate of hero Guybrush Threepwood.

The graphic adventure video series, which is developed in collaboration with Lucas Arts, first appeared in the 1990’s withThe Secret of Monkey Island. It has since become a firm favourite within the gaming community.

Telltale has also announced that it will be selling the four previous episodes individually at a reduced price as well as the whole package as a single unit.
