Post release Dragon Age DLC announced

Developer Bioware has announced the first post-release DCL package for recently shipped RPG Dragon Age: Origins.

“Return to Ostagar”, which will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 this festive season will reportedly allow players to “exact their revenge and embark on a quest for the mighty arms and armor of the once great King Cailan when they revisit Ostagar, the site of the Grey Wardens’ darkest hour, to reclaim the honor and learn the secrets of Ferelden’s fallen king.”

With the addition of battlefields “now thick with darkspawn encamped amidst the snow,” players will also encounter “a second chance to add Dog to your party” reports Shack News.

The download will be available for 400 Bioware points/400 Microsoft points (R37.50) in North America. Despite the confirmation that it will be released worldwide international pricing has not yet been released.

Dragon Age: Origins, which was released internationally on the 6th of November has been met with critical acclaim, currently holding an average score of 91 of 100 on review aggregator Metacritic. Thus far it has sold almost 500 000 copies on the Xbox 360 platform alone.
