Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling has announced that Modern Warfare 2 will be getting its first downloadable content in early 2010.

“DLC is planned for the wonderfully vague timeframe of spring,” said Bowling. Pricing for the DLC was not announced.

Bowling also announced that the game would be getting new playlist updates for all platforms soon.

“Playlist update coming today. Introducing Hardcore Ricochet: HQ Pro & adding more maps to the rotation of the Free-for-All playlist,” said Bowling.
