Sony has announced that it will stop the online play service for three of its big games on 28 January, 2014.

The online multiplayer support for MAG, SOCOM: Confrontation, and SOCOM 4 will all come to a halt in January, announced on Twitter.

“Advisory: Online multiplayer services for MAG, SOCOM Confrontation, and SOCOM 4 will be ending on 01/28/14,” said Sony.

Both MAG and SOCOM: Confrontation require online to play, which will then render the games unplayable. SOCOM 4 does have a single-player campaign.

MAG and SOCOM 4 were developed by Zipper Interactive, who were shut down following the completion of the PS Vita game Unit 13.
