Weekly digital specials announced

Digital distribution platforms have announced a number of new specials and deals for the week. They are as follows:

Steam Specials

Steam is continuing its Summer Getaway Sale, and with every day comes new deals, flash sales, and other specials.

The Getaway Sale lasts until 22 July, and new gaming specials are emerging as the sale goes on.

GOG has 3 games on sale this week, including the action RPG Evoland ($3.99), the sci-fi arcade shooter Humans Must Answer ($3.99) and a pre-order special for the dragon-flying RTS hybrid Divinity: Dragon Commander ($39.99).

Bundle Stars

The Pure Indie bundle is on special from Bundle Stars for R39.

The bundle features Shattered Haven, Lunar Pack (Wake & Lunnye Devitsy), Power of Defense, Data Jammers: FastForward,Brainpipe: A Plunge to Inhumanity, Gumboy Crazy Adventures, Tidalis, Iron Grip: Marauders (In-Game Credit),Gravi, and Vitrum

Amazon’s big sale has ended, but there is a good deal still alive on the online retailer.

The Game of the Year edition of Tribes: Ascend has been discounted from $20.00 down to $9.99, which allows players to unlock all perks, weapons, classes and equipment in Hi-Rez Studios’ free-to-play shooter.

PS Plus members can get a discount on some PS2 games which are on sale through the PS Store.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, God Hand, Okami HD, Metal Gear Solid 2 HD – Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3 HD – Snake Eater are some of the games on special, among others.

There are also some great games for PS Plus members coming up in August, such as Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Spec Ops: The Line and Mafia 2.
