Digital distribution platforms have announced a number of new specials and deals for the week. They are as follows:
Steam Specials
The Steam sale is over, but that doesn’t mean that the deals have slowed down.
Steam has Trine 2: Complete Story for $2.00, along with the Midweek Madness special being the Ys franchise, which includes Ys Origin ($6.79), Ys I & II Chronicles+ ($5.09) and Ys: The Oath in Felghana ($5.09).
GOG.com
GOG has a number games on sale this week, including Brutal Legend for $9.99, the action puzzle game Influx for $8.99 and the turn-based RPG fantasy game Avadon for $2.99.
GamersGate
GamersGate is continuing its Summer Sale specials.
On special is The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing (R72), Risen (R24) and F1 2012 (R96).
Also on special is the Deus Ex collection for R108, which includes the Game of the Year edition for Deus EX, Deus EX: The Invisible War, Deus Ex: Human Revolution: Augmented Edition, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution: The Missing Link.
Amazon
Amazon’s big sale has ended, but there is a good deal still alive on the online retailer.
Sniper Elite V2 is priced at $5.99, while Castle Crashers is now only $3.75.
Bundle Stars
Bundle Stars’ new bundle, the Superfly Indie bundle, is priced at R49 and features 10 games.
It includes Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD, Afterfall Insanity Extended Edition, Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers, Cargo Commander,Disciples III: Renaissance, The Journey Down: Chapter 1, Kung Fu Strike: The Warrior’s Rise, Dungeons: The Dark Lord, Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space and Zeno Clash
PS Plus
PS Plus members can get a discount on some PS2 games which are on sale through the PS Store.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, God Hand, Okami HD, Metal Gear Solid 2 HD – Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3 HD – Snake Eater are some of the games on special, among others.
There are also some great games for PS Plus members coming up in August, such as Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Spec Ops: The Line and Mafia 2.
Xbox Live
Xbox Live Gold members may have been disappointed with the previous Games with Gold offering, but this month, players get what they have been asking for – Assassin’s Creed II.
