According to Grabgeekpoints, one of Microsoft’s hardware partners has released various titbits of information regarding their next operating system; Windows 8.

Described as similar to the iPhone’s App store, but with a “Microsoft twist”, the Windows Store will feature all manner of desktop gadgetry.
