ARK: Survival Evolved feels for the victims of The Stomping Land

ARK: Survival Evolved

Soon to be released Early Access title ARK: Survival Evolved, and maybe the best dinosaur game ever, is all too aware of the controversy surrounding former dinosaur survival title The Stomping Land – its developer Wildcard is, we mean.

For those who don’t, The Stomping Land was abandoned mid-development, its consumer base left out in the cold, among the dinosaurs.

Knowing full well that ARK is a very similar concept to The Stomping Land, Wildcard is aware that the demonstration of their upcoming game touched the nerves of many frazzled and burnt consumers.

To make them feel a little better, Wildcard has made the announcement that anyone who buys their game will be given free “Stomped Land Bling Shades,” a cosmetic item for their personal T-Rex.

“We promised a little something for those of you who were let down by The Stomping Land. We at Studio Wildcard are sympathetic and want to help ease the suffering and tend to the wounds. Join us at your new Dinosaur home,” said Wildcard in a Steam discussion.

ARK: Survival Evolved becomes available on Steam Early Access on June 2nd.

Have not even really heard about ARK till a short while ago and decided to not buy it due to the previously mentioned game. Now however I feel like buying it just for those shades.
