There’s obviously a fair amount of crossover between people who play video games and read comic books.
While they are both relatively solitary hobbies, there’s also a simplicity to the stories and power fantasies you can’t really get in any other form of media.
While crossovers between the two haven’t always been too great, video game comic books have really started to hit their stride in recent years.
