When Gotham stands at the brink of destruction, when evil threatens to rise up and destroy all that is before it, only one man can save the day. He is The Batman.
The first video showing “in-game” footage of Batman: Arkham Knight has been released, and it looks good.
We see which villains the Bat will face; his flame-throwing, wall-riding Batmobile; and the antagonist after whom the game is named – The Arkham Knight – who tells us: “No more hope, no more Batman.”
The Arkham Knight is an original villain character designed at Rocksteady in collaboration with DC comics. He has never appeared in any other Batman comic, movie, or game.
The game’s visuals are stunning, and if the trailer has been rendered using the in-game engine (Unreal Engine 3) then gamers are in for a treat.
Once you have watched the trailer (below), take a look at our screenshot bonanza and “Everything you need to know” article to ensure you know all there is about the upcoming title.
Arkham Knight will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in October 2014.
