Sky Sports and ITV launch 24 hour gaming channel

30 June 2016

Sky Sports and ITV have joined forces to launch GINX eSports TV, the UK and Ireland’s first 24-hour eSports TV channel.

As well as the ELEAGUE tournaments, fans can expect to see FACEIT’s eSports Championship Series and Valve’s Dota 2 ‘The International’ competition as part of the coverage.

Other highlights include Sunday’s live action from Wembley Arena. The team will bring us unique behind the scenes footage of the FACEIT ECS Season 1 Finals with plenty of highlights and special expert opinion.

We recently asked where DStv’s gaming and tech channels were, and with the launch of GINX eSports TV in  the UK, we don’t imagine it will be too long before similar channels make their way to South Africa.
