Balls and Bikes – games you can play this week

Last week was a relatively quiet one for local game releases, but week 3 of April 2014 is looking a bit more promising. Here are this week’s gaming arrivals in SA.

Final Fantasy 14 Online: A Realm Reborn

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn releases today, 14 April 2014, for PlayStation 4. The MMO received negative reviews when it was originally released in 2010, and the game was re-developed under a new team with the aim of addressing all its faults.

The PC version of the re-worked game scored 83 on Metacritic, and the general consensus is that “version 2” of Final Fantasy 14 Online was a huge improvement on its predecessor.

Trials Fusion

Arriving on Friday, 18 April 2014, for PS4, Trials Fusion pits players against other racers on complex and technical courses. Take your bike through the course with the fastest time, fewest crashes and highest FMX score to rule the Trials roost.
