Does anybody remember what happened when steam decided to make mods a paid thing? Literally everybody freaked out and they had to change it back so that people would stay on steam. If valve/Steam does anything terrible in the future, you can bet your ass that we the people would revolt. It’s not like games are a needed item, like food. If it costs ten times more than it should, then people won’t buy it. As to Steam becoming a monopoly, there will always be small distributors popping up and ruining the whole “monopoly” thing. There’s nothing to worry about, Steam is getting better and better, and making playing games better and better. All this sh*t is just a conspiracy theory.
