Intel has launched its SSD 545s, which is the first commercially-available 64-layer, 3D NAND, TLC SSD.
The 2.5-inch SSD features improved power consumption and uses a SATA 6Gb/s interface.
The SSD also supports AES 256-bit self-encryption and is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
The 512GB version of the SSD is priced at $180, with storage capacities of up to 2TB available in the future.
