The best crypto-mining graphics cards of 2017

Cryptocurrency mining can be a profitable exercise, despite the volatile nature of the market.

To see which graphics cards can make you the most money in your mining rig, we used mining benchmarks from HotHardware to compare the hash rate of popular GPUs when used to mine Ethereum.

Using CryptoCompare’s profitability calculator, we then determined the estimated earnings per year for each card and calculated the payback period.

Card and cryptocurrency prices used in the calculations are from 8 December 2017.

The best graphics cards for cryptocurrency mining in 2017, ranked by payback period, are listed below.
