First AMD Radeon RX 480 benchmarks leaked

10 June 2016
Radeon RX 480

Benchmark scores allegedly measuring the performance of the AMD RX 480 have leaked online, reports OC3D.

The benchmarks appear to show performance well above the GTX 980 and the minimum requirements for VR headsets.

These benchmark scores also support the predicted performance of the Radeon RX 480 compared to the GeForce GTX 900 Series.

While it cannot be confirmed whether this is in fact a RX 480 being tested, the card’s clock speeds and VRAM (8GB) match the known specifications.

It should also be noted that scores will differ based on the CPU being used, but this should give us a very early indication of what to expect from the card.
