Samsung’s lighting-fast, high-capacity 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD will begin shipping next week, reports Toms Hardware.
The SM961 is a compact form-factor NVMe M.2 SSD which features storage capacities of up to 1TB.
The SSD is also available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB versions.
The sequential read and write speeds of the 1TB SM961 SSD are 3,200MB/s and 1,800MB/s respectively, offering quick transfer rates unimpeded by the restrictions of SATA III.
The 1TB version of the SM961 NVMe M.2 SSD is priced at $512 USD internationally, with the 512GB and 256GB variations priced at $280 and $159 USD respectively.
The Samsung SM961 is the fastest consumer SSD released to date.
