This incredible mod recreates No Man’s Sky and makes it even better

Disappointed with No Man’s Sky? Robert Prest was.

That’s why for the last 3 week he has been working on a Doom 2 mod that attempts to recreate much of the core experience of No Man’s Sky.

While not perfect, (it includes loading screens between the planet and space) it does include procedurally-generated planets, creatures, and space stations as well as a center of the universe.

Being based on the now 1994 DOOM engine, it’s also a lot more stable than No Man’s Sky, running smoothly and with no noticeable crashes.
