There are less than 1,000 people playing No Man’s Sky on Steam

23 September 2016

There are currently less than a thousand No Man’s Sky players on Steam right now, reports Techspot.

These lows are recorded just a month after the game’s official release on 9 August.

For context as to just how far the game has fallen in popularity, the title had over 212,000 concurrent players at one point.

While new content and free updates have been promised by developers Hello Games, the company has also gone silent since the game’s release, only adding to fans’ anger.

“At the end of August, it was reported that a large number of people who had purchased the game were asking for refunds, despite having played it for many hours.”

“The situation led to Steam’s announcement that no special refund exemptions are available for No Man’s Sky.”
