Sony has revealed that the original PS3 version of Red Dead Redemption will be playable on PC thanks to the PlayStation Now streaming service.

This follows a recent partnership announcement between Rockstar and Sony for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2, following the recent reveal of the game’s trailer.

Streaming the PS3 version of the game using PlayStation Now will be the only way to play Red Dead Redemption on PC.

PlayStation Now allows gamers to stream hundreds of PlayStation 3 games a month and is available across a number of devices.

The service features more than 400 games, including popular PlayStation exclusives such as the Uncharted and God of War series.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch in Q3/Q4 of 2017 on Xbox One and PS4.

I haven’t tried Playstation Now but I’ll put money down that the input lag will make it a chore to play 🙁
