Blizzard announces StarCraft Remastered

Blizzard will release a remastered version of its classic real-time strategy game StarCraft.

StarCraft Remastered features a complete graphics overhaul, increasing texture quality and upping the maximum supported resolution to 3,840 x 2,160.

Audio, buildings, units, cutscenes, and more have been improved, and the remastered version also adds new features.

StarCraft Remastered players will be able to take advantage of Blizzard’s matchmaking and online platform to find and play games with their friends.

Blizzard also announced that the original anthology, which includes the original StarCraft and Brood War, is free for all PC gamers.
