Ghost of Tsushima PC port update

4 March 2024

According to XboxEra’s Nick Baker, we could get more information on the rumoured Ghost of Tsushima’s PC port tomorrow.

Baker has a solid track record of accurate insider information (predicting most of Sony’s recent State of Play presentation) and, in a Tweet, stated that he expects an announcement for the PC port to arrive tomorrow.

“I’m hearing that we might be getting something about the Ghost of Tsushima PC port soon. Maybe around the 5th?” he posted on X (formerly Twitter).

He then clarified in a reply that it was the 5th of March he was referring to.

Ghost of Tsushima, alongside Bloodborne, is one of the few PlayStation Exclusives that hasn’t received a PC port in recent years, so while still a rumour, there’s a fair chance it’s accurate.

Sony has, after all, ported exclusive titles such as:

  • Returnal
  • The Last of Us
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man
  • Spider-Man: Miles Morales
  • God of War (2018)
  • Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection
  • Death Stranding
  • Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn’s sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, is also coming to PC, with its Complete Edition dropping on Steam this month (21 March).

Therefore, Ghost of Tsushima, a title often regarded by players as one of the best PlayStation exclusives for the PS4 generation, getting a PC port shouldn’t be too outside the realm of possibility.

Should Ghosts of Tsushima receive a PC port, the only major, older PS exclusive left will be Bloodborne – a fact that will vex many players.
