If you can’t wait to get your hands on the Shadow Warrior reboot coming our way later this year, the original classic 3D Realms kung-fu-inspired shooter is now free to download on Steam.
Originally released in 1997, Shadow Warrior won’t push your rig to the limits, but it will test your laughing muscles.
The game was an over-the-top romp through the Land of the Rising Sun, packed full of shurikens, Uzis and ripping the heads off of enemies.
For the new Shadow Warrior, the long-overdue revival will come from Hard Reset developer, Flying Wild Hog, and will be published by Devolver Digital.
There’s very little information on the game, but the project will be a “total reimagining of Shadow Warrior”, according to Flying Wild Hog on its Facebook page.
There was one image and logo uploaded to the official site. The image shows a dead, bleeding guy, with a bullet hole in his chest, confirming that killing and guns will definitely feature – you heard it here first.
