Valve has updated its Source engine, which adds support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality goggles, and adds mods support for Mac and Linux Source engine game.

Source SDK 2013 also adds SteamPipe support, which is Steam’s new content delivery system, allowing for faster load times for games, maps and mod installations.

The Oculus Rift support is one of the big additions, as running a compatible mod with -vr on the command line will run the mod in stereo and enable head tracking on the Rift; the only problem being: you need an Oculus Rift.
