Lionhead Studios, the development studio behind the Fable franchise, officially closes down today.
The studio’s closure was originally announced on 7 March 2016, and today the studio closes down for good.
Lionhead Studios staff have been expressing their sadness and saying farewell to their beloved development studio on social media today.

Fable Legends, the last game developed by Lionhead Studios was never officially released and was officially shut down on 13 April 2016.
It’s not all bad news, as Sony assisted ex-Lionhead Studios employees by recruiting developers for other projects.
Lionhead Studios created some influential games during its lifetime, including the Fable and Black & White franchises.
