Blizzard has released the second animated short for Overwatch, its upcoming team-based first-person-shooter.
The latest video is named ‘Alive’, and features Widowmaker facing off against Tracer in an intense rooftop battle.
The video shows off Widowmaker’s skill with a sniper rifle, and provides additional background on the conflict present in the world of Overwatch.
Widowmaker’s showcase follows the release of Overwatch’s first animated short – featuring the genetically-engineered gorilla, Winston.
Blizzard will continue to release animated shorts for Overwatch on a regular basis, featuring the stories of various different playable characters.
Overwatch is set to release on 24 May 2016 after an open beta on 5 May, and will arrive on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
