The “Xbox One-Two” will arrive in 2017, with a slim version of the Xbox One releasing this year, reports Polygon.

The Xbox console landing in 2017 is code-named Scorpio, and will be four times more powerful as the current Xbox One.

Microsoft has reportedly moved up the release schedule for its upcoming consoles in response to Sony’s PlayStation Neo plans.

The Xbox Scorpio aims to deliver a new level of graphics processing power, reaching a floating point performance of 6 TFLOP/s – which is a high target compared to the PlayStation Neo’s 4.14 TFLOP/s and the Xbox One’s 1.32 TFLOP/s.

Xbox games will support both the current version of the Xbox One and the Xbox Scorpio, with the newer console offering gamers higher-quality visuals and 4K graphics.

The Xbox One Slim will arrive some time in August 2016 according to Polygon’s sources, and will be the smallest Xbox ever made. The slimline device will also support 4K video display.

The Xbox Scorpio will probably be announced in the next couple of months, with the Xbox One Slim expected to be revealed at E3 2016.
