For those who don't know, this will allow you to play games with a controller even if they don't have controller support. Also allows you to control programs like VLC for example. Very easy to use, and you can download control configurations for hundreds of games.

I see lichdom battlemage is on sale at GOG for just over $5. Has anyone played this? I remember hearing about this a while back- people were saying its quite a badass experience. There's no manna, no limitations as with most RPG's- you just walk around frying people and cackling like a madman. It looks pretty decent from the pics.

I've also heard it's quite good. From what I remember from the reviews is that it can be quite tough but was a good game overall. It's on my wishlist... but these days even my GOG backlog is getting a bit big!

I have it. Personally not worth the R60 hey, it was extremely linear.

Oh that's disappointing. The concept sounds so good.

shouldnt you know by now to save for all american sales dates? winter, summer, black friday, Christmas...

Yes, I should definitely know this by now. Still a shock to the system lol. A good shock though- kind of like a kid walking into toys are us for the first time.

The graphics were pretty, I won't lie by not saying that. The thing is, after a few hours, any new content (spell combos) didn't increase the gameplay depth. I still only spammed 2 spells as often as cooldown allowed. It was like running through Titan Quest from start to end, 10 times, with only simple hack and slashing.

About the steam sales, you probably saw this already but there was an article on mybb about steam acquiring ZAR as a currency and also that the sa government intends to tax out digital purchases. If you can, invest in your steam wallet before the tax thing possibly hits

I can see that happening. It's a small studio, so hopefully they listen to the feedback and fix the problems for the next game. With these kinds of games you have to mix it up. create enemies that are more vulnerable to certain attacks, or give you multiple ways to deal with guys, and you have to figure out which is the best way. Dark souls was amazing at that. What worked for one boss would get your ass fried on another.

That's a good idea actually. Think I will do that.
