Lol. Soon. If it's any consolation remember that us PC peasants still have to suffer through until Friday surrounded by all the PlayStation posts.

Have you got a local release time for SA yet? Or still just "on 10 August"? Any sign of a pre-load? (Don't think it's too big an install though - did I see/hear something like 6GB? - so probably not.)

Yeah, unlocks at 12am Wednesday 10'th August on PSN, and retailers should start stocking the shelves tomorrow. Not sure if there will preloading available on Steam though I don't see why not.
 
One part of me finds the game intriguing, the other part knows that I will probably buy it and enjoy the first 5 or 10 hours and then stop playing it.

I'll wait for proper reviews and so on before I decide.

Agreed, so far it looks like it is lacking some serious depth. Will wait and see. Interested to see what Angry Joe does with it.
 
This game wont be for everyone. And you need to know that before going into it. Take [MENTION=4071]BeoTeK[/MENTION] for instance. That bastard played elite dangerous for months and there is nothing to do in that game.

If you know what you are getting into, you will love it. Otherwise you will probably hate it.

Haha yeah I know right? He played E: D so much, and still going. So this is probably the perfect game for him (or I hope so).

Sean Murray did an AMA on Reddit yesterday. Amongst the 8000+ replies and comments is a ton of info and a couple of gems. He threw a gauntlet down in terms of the naming things thing:

Been avoiding watching stuff but Watched an Achivement hunters live stream and the game looks like I could get in to it. from what I seen
you run around on the surface of planet collect resources repair/build your ship and then fly around the galaxy building mining trading fighting.
