how does NMS compare to say Ark survival evolved?
Ark is leap years ahead of this.

DISCLAIMER: I'm just being an ass, I don't own No Man's Sky, don't think it would be for me even if it DID actually deliver what it promised.
I quite enjoyed this one.
had a wonderful "Space Sci Exploration" moment last night. Landed on an exotic planet which had gorgeous purple "wheat" like grass, swaying in the wind. while walking around, it began to rain and that added to the amazing environment. Then there were the creatures. for the first time, PROPER Alien looking life forms, not just springbok abominations. Some were blobby with tendrils and others were squat with fat limbs while others had oddly tall hind quarters with short forelimbs.
and the best part is that the general condition was pretty temperate so no need to constantly topup exosuit. really enjoying these moments![]()
What if theres like a finite number of "pregenerated" worlds that are those "lotto" worlds you guys speak of, amongst all the "multiple sliders randomized" worlds that make up all the other slots?
So I have finished the Atlas Path and it was pretty good (I had to google to figure out what just happened and smacked myself in the face because it was so obvious)
I am now well on my way to the center and this is where the game starts to change.
Once all/most of your gear is upgraded and you no longer have to hoard 1000 of each and very element in order to craft all the upgrades you need, the game becomes a true survival exploration game. And it's GREAT!
Pro Tip: Stacking upgrades makes a BIG difference
I'll make a point of copying my screenshots this week upload them to imgur, then I'll post the link here
