How to tell if you are consuming too much caffeine on a daily basis

Respek man. I'm a total coffee addict as well and I often find myself trekking all over the place looking for new coffee places to try out. I even have this setup on my desk at work because I take my coffee very seriously. :p

You're also very lucky to have a SO who shares your addiction. I'm hoping one day I will find my fellow coffee addict or trance addict; if possible someone who is both.

Nice! Also, my coffee quote:

Some people have a cup of coffee to wake up. I wake up to have a cup of coffee.

I like that subliminal marketing wording....

"...the maximum amount of caffeine you should have in a day."

as if the body naturally needs caffeine.

Mine does, man. Mine does.

Point out to her that it's chicory-based coffee and that she should buy Nescafe Classic or Gold.

Put your foot down man

I (we) don't like classic. it actually makes me nauseous. and have you seen the price of nescafé gold????

My mom is like that. I mean, I have this amazing machine at home and yet my mom still prefers her Ricoffy.

It really ruins all instant coffee for you :p

hahahaha! not at the rate she consumes that swill. end of the day I don't care, I only drink coffee at work and we have a machine :D

I tend to have Nescafe Classic, Gold, Jacobs, Ricoffy and Frisco instant coffees in the house.

The wife drinks only Ricoffy and Frisco. The maid can have whatever she wants, but it tends to be Frisco. I drink Gold or Classic IF if have to drink instant coffee.

But I keep my Italian Blend Dark Roast beans locked up; My special single origin (Ethiopian) dark roast is hands off.

hahahaha! we have a machine, but it's too much effort to use it so it just sits in the cupboard now.

sometimes we mix the classic and the ricoffy. that makes it slightly more drinkable

I find it therapeutic to grind the beans, boil the water in a stovetop kettle on a gas hob and brew the coffee in a french press. That is how I make coffee. At work we have a bean-to-cup machine which makes acceptable coffee.
