[MyGame] Spec Ops: The Line

Started playing over the weekend. Think I'm at Chapter 5 now. I died so much at one point that the game asked me if I wanted to change the difficulty. [emoji14]

Hahahahaha I also got that at one point. I was like hell no, I'm not that useless. Screw you game for judging me!

Yip. Mine happened
Spoiler: show
while defending teammate after the chopper goes down.
The heavy with 2 elites that eventually show up just won't die, and eventually just instakills you with his LMG after slowly walking past your cover.
 
I have to admit, I am playing this on the easiest setting, mainly because if I had to die once more I would have lost the little bit of calm I have left.

But otherwise I am enjoying the game, at chapter 8.

Interesting. I did that part on my first go.

I died multiple times near the start of the game

when you're in the building where all the civilians are hiding/camping out
. Can't remember why I died so much though.

Were you playing on Suicide difficulty? :p

Think I just got a crappy checkpoint, since mine always respawns me just before cover and no decent weapons lying around, so its a pain just to GET to the LMG guy.

No, I played on the normal (second) difficulty
Us normies can't handle those kind of difficulties man :P
 
Sadly I did not catch on to this awesome event until I think the 3rd one. Worst part is, I might have owned DS1 already (bought it sometime last year from a bundle...i think) and DEFINITELY owned bl2, so I could have :(
 
So far, I managed to get past the helicopter intro scene before remembering I had work to do.

Hopefully I will have more time this week.

Ah damn. Would have loved to see you 100% Dark Souls though :)

Although tough as hell (especially when starting out) I really loved the game. I even started on NG+ and played quite a ways into the game before stopping.

Thats sad, IMO the BL2 MyGame was THE BEST one we've had so far. There was a reason for people to be on TS [MENTION=289]Jan[/MENTION] was streaming the atmosphere was great.
 
So I'm currently stuck on the bit just after you hold off the guys by the piano room. its a really long segment involving a cutscene, then a corridor with guys on the roof, a nade trap, a turret at the end and then heading out into the sand storm. I can get to the sand bit but from there i'm buggered. FUBAR is a bit unfair if i cant aim properly (which you cant in the sand storm) and they still take 1-2 shots to kill me :(

I really wish they'd have made a checkpoint before we go out into the sand...coz I can stand there and dispatch with ease indefinitely, but as soon as i enter the sand they swarm out and i'm screwed :(
 
Ok I finished the game. I see what you said about the story [MENTION=20]Solitude[/MENTION].
