[MyGame] Spec Ops: The Line

And done!

Completed Spec Ops.PNG

I found I actually struggled less at the later levels than I did the first time playing the game. The story is still epic, and it's really interesting replaying it knowing all the twists and seeing how well it's all done.

Is it too early to start punting my idea that the next one should be something completely different? Like a point-n-click adventure, puzzle or maybe even a racing game.

I wonder if Deus Ex will be winning the next vote (it came second last time). It's currently on sale for those who still didn't buy it yet.

But there is no way I'm ever going to be able to get through those gymkana events in Dirt 3!

Although I would suggest Beneath a Steal Sky for a point and click adventure.

The next one can be anything but with an average How Long To Beat time of 20+ hours. The one after that will be one with no restrictions. Trying to make it one challenging one then one easy one or something like that. Personally I hope Assassin's Creed IV wins the next one.

I'd definitely be up for Assassin's Creed IV :). Enjoying the mygaming challenge as it's speeding up my progress through the backlog!

Made it to chapter 12.

There are quite a few appropriate things to say so far; The road to Hell is paved with good intentions or perhaps Friedrich Nietzsche can give us some insight? He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.

Either way, things have gotten out of control. Walker's attempts to fight the monsters are fruitless. He is no longer in control.

It is at this very point in the game that we witness Walker being consumed by the monsters, and the abyss finally looks back at him. Thus his transformation into a monster is complete. He can't be blamed for it, what choice did he have? As the game states in one of it's loading screens There is no difference between what is right and what is necessary. Oh the irony.

His breakdown seem to be more focused towards himself than to Konrad. There is a reason for this and I'll get back to it later.

I also find it interesting to note that music is not as prevalent through chapters 7 to 11. Instead the game chooses to use visual signs, hanging bodies, rotting corpses and graffiti showing the downward spiral into chaos.

Spoiler: show

Bonus multikill!
