[MyGame] Rise of the Tomb Raider

Colors look a little washed out, is your gamma set too high?

I doubt it. I wouldn't pay much attention to that part of pic. The original i had to compress etc coz mygaming didnt wanna take a 3mb jpg. So irfanview took it down to 700kb. I dont recall it looking washed out live :)

Also, arrow headshots only and the arrow recover perk. Makes survivor mode much more manageable

Yup, it's headshot after headshot while trying not to be a bullet sponge

Just pay attention to your surroundings. When you are escaping the gulag, there are plenty of barrels to shoot and roofs to pull down on enemies.

If you going for survivor, invest in the iron skin/healing/arrow recovery skills first.

Got started last night. Ended up setting up Eyefinity and it was running smooth... for a few minutes... Then I got those 8bit *****es again. It is something to do with the lighting fx.

Didn't want to chance killing the card, so I'm just gonna do it single screen. (or maybe bump down the Hz). My PC speakers are borked though, so I might just haul my PC into the living room and play on the big screen. I'm playing with an Xbone controller, which is the first model and needs to be wired, so I'd need to use my 360 controller if I do that, since I have the wireless adapter.

Nothing can ever be simple, hey...

So I decided to restart the game and rush to the point where I stopped playing (Geothermal Valley). My previous playthrough I took my time and did the Baba Yaga DLC as well. So I’m almost there again so I can continue the game at my leisure.

Managed to pick up an achievement or 2 along the way that I missed (like shooting a bottle out of the air).

If it's any consolation I haven't even started yet. :o I hope to start this weekend. :)

Yay! I'm in the same boat. My game only finished downloading last night, so I'll start maybe this weekend, otherwise only next week somewhere.

I'm still playing through the previous TR. I've just reached the Shanty town. It's been fun replaying the game, I had forgotten how satisfying the shotgun is to use.

Help Jan! I can't seem to remove the image from the post and the spoiler tags aren't working!

*edit*

Nevermind, I was able to delete the image.

Is it me, or does the game feel shorter than the first one? It seems like as if the optional tombs and challenges make up about 30-40% of the total gameplay.

It does feel a lot shorter. I'm trying to do all the optional tombs but struggling to find them.

I'm doing whatever comes accross my way. I stopped last night after Lara had the trippiest experience after sniffing some strange flowers; bad Lara!

So far the Tomb Raider difficulty is also very easy, almost wish I started on a bit higher difficulty.
