Fallout: New Vegas official discussion thread

To activate downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas, double-click on the game's entry in your Library list.

This will bring up the game's launcher menu. Select the "Data Files" option.

From here, you can select the content you would like to have available in the game.


To view the additional content subscriptions for Fallout that are registered to your account, please do the following:

1) Log in to Steam
2) Navigate to your Library list
3) Right-click on the game
4) Select "View downloadable content".

Alternatively, you can also find the DLC (downloadable content) for a game by right-clicking on the game, selecting 'Properties' and navigating to the DLC tab.

Remember to activate your preorder stuff before hand.

I have the day off Friday so I'm gonna go pick up my copy at 8:00...

Then you must've been invisible as nobody seem to recall seeing you at 08h00; however, I'm told someone closely resembling your facial area did show up a little bit later to grab a copy of the Collector's Edition. Then, grinning gleefully, she left as abruptly as she had arrived.

I got the PC version, finished installing it and now it's downloading the release day patch. Looks like it's about 250 MB heavy. So far it has download 104.1 MB.

I couldn't care less about ultra high graphics to be honest. As I mentioned earlier I prefer to relax on the couch while playing games, especially a game like this that I will be playing for hours at a time.

Made it to 12 hours gametime. Really loving it so far, can see myself spending hours and hours on this.

EDIT - Have a couple of perks already: Cannibal, Intense Training, Rapid Reload, Stonewall, Trigger Discipline and Wild Wasteland. Wish I could play the whole day again today, but sadly, duty calls.
