Doesn't it bother you that you pay for the same game basically over and over just a new game mode or two etc...

Each to their own I suppose.

Nope since I skipped both World at War and MW2.

I was one of the unlucky ones that bought MW2, lets just say I have learned my lesson, and Treyarch, no thank you. Not for me.

I think this is why I am completely blown away by Black Ops and the SP was one of the best I have ever played.

Needless to say, this game has got HEAPS of stuff to do and I foresee it being many a gamers primary FPS of 2011 :)
 
again same thing. Got a friend over. Wanted to show him the epic fail lagfest of Blackops. Low and behold, smooth smooth gameplay. Played about 8-10 maps without issue epic K/D ultra smooth gameplay. Then out of the blue, while on the same server Epic lag.

I've started downloading it again, it's on 580MB of updates already... maybe they actually did something?
 
I managed to play one game with ping spiking from 40 to 999 constantly.. then next map just got stuck on 999
But whats weird is that my steam keeps dropping.. does anyone else get this?
 
The ZomZ mode is great fun, played a coule of rounds last night. We only aeem to ne able to survive on average of eight rounds, before we were turned into leaky pieces of meat
 
Im so P'd off right now, been 2 weeks still can't play properly... lag lag lag... not even changing the configs are working.. sigh !
 
So I bought the game today. Installed enter key - Duplicate key detected WTF FML.

I was so pissed off.

Went back to the shop and go a new game. It worked thank goodness.
 
After the update this morning, same issue for me I dont understand. 100% lag free, no issues epic epic games. Watched a movie in the living room came back and ultra lag. rebooted pc, router, verified steam files the works.

I don't get it.

I notice that as well. The patched didn't seem to fix anything on my side. It did make it a little better, but some games lag more than others or maybe its map related? Some games my fps is around 40-80 and other games its 30-60......

I finally got my AK, but I cant even use it because of the lag...
 
I haven't tried the game with the latest patch yet. Think I will test it now and post back if I notice any changes, be it good or bad.
 
lag lag lag ......then patch = more lag

I dont get it some nights gameplay is flawless ...so much fun then some times its un playable like right now its a shame
 
Well not much has changed for me. Framrate is still smooth and my ping ranges from 50 - 80. So in my experience it's near on perfect.
