I hope they managed to make the world feel a little more alive. In Oblivion the world responded to my actions with a kind of Indifference.
Yeah I never really felt like a hero in that game.
I had several house and some of the most powerful magic spells and weapons imaginable but no matter who I killed it didn't really seem to matter much. I became the grey fox or whatever and with that mask i could pretty much do as i please.
the story sounds epic.
just lol once more that we start as a prisoner. again!
atleast it ain't a farmer![]()
It is going to be absolute torture waiting for this game. Oblivion is the one game that I have spent the most time (not sure how much, but probably something like 500 hours or even more) on in my entire gaming life. I'm pretty sure Skyrim will be the only game that can beat that.
You forgot about the most interesting way to travel in Morrowind, Scroll of Icarian Flight.
You are referring to the Tsaesci, which is a race of vampiric snake-like people on the continent of Akavir. There are also 3 other races on Akavir, the Kamal, Tang Mo and Ka Po'Tun, but the influence you mention is from the Tsaesci. Several Tsaesci served in place of the Emperor, but that ended in the 2nd Era when the last one and his heirs where all assassinated.
The Emperor line is descended from Akatosh, who's avatar is a dragon and is stated to be the first of the gods. It is rumored that his blood was mystically joined with the descendants of Alessia, who was the first Empress. The Emperors weren't descended from the Tsaesci.
