This one will be hard as there are like hundreds of Flight simulators, especially around the 1988 to 1993 era judging by the graphics, I'd take a shot in the dark it's either one of the Falcon series of cames, possibly Dogfights or something thereabouts.

Nope. I'll give a tip and say that the game was released in 1989.
 
Wow okay, nicely done. I was running through in my mind all the flight sims from that time and I kept hitting Commanche :-D

I think the only flight sim I can really remember from back in those days was Strike Commander. All the other I didn't have the privilege of playing since we had a 286 :D
 
Well those would've worked, Strike Commander was quite a hectic FS for the time, earlier they released 1942 - Pacific Strike it was also pretty good.
