But that's the beauty of it. If someone achieves troll status, it's because they deserve it. With anonymity gone, if someone gives you -rep for no good reason, you know who it is, and it can be reported. The rep system is no longer as open to abuse as it was.
 
Lol, just asking. You know as well as I do any mentioning or pointing out to " the saga " result in removal.

Not sure how exactly I would benefit from getting you kicked in first place. Besides I actually didn't involve myself in those tiresome events as you very well should know.

Look it's simple. You can keep on banning until we're at Prometheus1000000 and both dead from old age. Rudolph will tell you I'll keep coming back. Or you can get rid of me. I never cared for Rudolph's second forum, seems the old one isn't bringing in enough money any more, they now even have to resort to advertising it on every other forum I visit. Wonder why... :rolleyes: Luckily Opera's content blocker is magic. I only came here to see which of my old mybb buddies were here. Didn't find any so interest waned. Everything seems so artificial, not the magic spark that mybb had at one time. I say had as in past tense in case there's any confusion.

All I want is for everyone to know who my attacker is. Common decency I have the same right as everybody else now has. Really pathetic when you repeatedly get attacked by an anonymous coward simply for having a sig.

I think this thread is getting outta hand especially from Prometheus derailing it entirely. From what I see this was supposed to be a conversation regarding the Karma rewards program/system for the site and instead it ended up having conversations regarding certain legalities and what happened in the past. :confused:

Prometheus if you guys want to have these discussions take it to PM or leave, it doesn't belong in here nor does it have any relevance to the current topic at hand on here.
 
Heh, ever since the new system got employed, I haven't received a single -rep. Used to be I got a lot of useless and arbitrary -rep on a weekly basis.
 
I like the Current karma system. It is fun. I don't think negative rep should be disabled. although, then we will pretty much just have a "like *thumb up*" system. Which works well enough for facebook and G+ etc. So I don't see why it couldn't potentially work here. But I do think negative rep is essential. You can't have Light without Dark, Good without Evil, Yin without Yang etc.
 
Also, the way people with more rep have more pull in what happens is decent. Then it isn't like someone can just create two accounts and rep themselves into a Mygaming Mother Teresa saintlike status.
