Only lvl 8 so far, haven't had much time this weekend =[
Just a few things though. If someone can clarify/help that would be awesome. [Xbox 360 version]
Please note that is not hate on the game. As it stands, I'm loving this game 99.8%. The 0.2% are the bugs/things that may improve gameplay
Weight of items issue: The items do no distinctively show their weight. If they do, please give a screenie cos I'm probably going blind. All I'm doing now is guessing what they weigh and selling it. Also, I don't know if components have any weight (alchemy and blacksmithing mats)
No/some weight of small items bug: I noticed that if I'm under full capacity, I can pick up quite a few small items (repair scrolls, pots etc) without it changing my capacity at all, but it's possible that they have a point weight (0.2, 0.1 etc). Other times I seem to have gone over capacity (72/70 capacity). Anyone else experience this?
Stats: A proper, simple character sheet may be a nice addition. Just so that all char stats can be display on one page. A single page that displays HP, mana, fate, total physical dmg, total bonus/elemental dmg, crit chance, crit dmg, dps, armour, block, resistances, etc all together. As is, all that data is there, just all over the place. If there is one, puhleese let me know where it is.
Again, note this is NOT hate on the game.
Well the weight thing is simple.. The items don't have weights.. If limit is 70.. U can have 70 items.. But if they stack they do not take up extra space... The crystal, reagents and blacksmith items do not take up any space because they're in their own bag.. So if ur running out of space. Throw/sell some potions..![]()
And the only thing I can think of for the stats is health, fate and mana are in pause menu and then u can reach skills and other stuff through the status menu(I think)
Sounds like a bug, I would report it on their forums. The trouble I'm running into is when I'm on 79/80, have 1 repair kit already and then I find a chest with 1 item (armor or weapon) and 1 repair kit. As soon as my capacity goes to the limit (80/80), I can't pick up any more repair kits.
Sounds like a bug, I would report it on their forums.
i like the game to be honest... but i get really confused sometimes while playing. because of this, i have shelved kingdoms for a rainy day so i can finish Darkness 2 and try level a bit more in WoW
The only gripe I have with the game so far is that it's confusing as hell. The sidequests aren't structured very well, so they have me running all across the map.
Open like fallout or just generally all over the place ?
Is anyone experiencing some serious audio lag?
Every time I engage in a fight my audio starts to lag about a second behind what's actually going on screen...
I've just spent the entire day playing Amalur and it was Awesome. Now at level 29 Having just finished the Scola Arcania Quest line. Im playing full Finess/Sorcery build with 159 dmps dealing chakrams and a 140 dps dealing bow. I also have Master Ranking in Blacksmiting and Sagecraft (rebuilt the char and spent the points i used on Stealth on Sagecraft instead.) as a result I have a health regen rate of about 12 points per second and a manage regen rate of about 5 - 8 points per second. I can remember the last time I had to take a mana postion. Also have the Archsage & Servant rings which boosts my elemental magic as well as the Spellcloak destiny. I've come to the point where I can charge into pretty much any combat senario and kill everything without my health dipping below half or 3/4, with the exception of major bosses.
And I'm pretty sure a prismere troll will set u back to half or lower..I had a 300 dps hammer and 120 faeblades and it still took a lil while to take that beast down...

Not having faced one I can say. Will let you know when I do. Most trolls don't even get a chance to touche me. Blink + range of chakrams + full power Mark of Flame, Icebolder Hurler & Lightning bold and that hight mana regen rate means not only can I do massive damage from a distance with the chakrams I can also spam special attacks. But I'll let you know when I face one.![]()
If you follow the main quest up until the point where you have to clear the nest of trolls, you will fight one. That was one of the toughest fights for me so far. I had to use 5 healing potions to survive, and it took several minutes to kill it. And then I got stuck on a piece of rock, which is the only bug I have found so far in the full game.
Luckily, I was playing a full Might/Finesse/Sorcery hybrid, so I managed to switch my destiny to Finesse/Sorc and blink out of the rocks.
