Guild Wars 2

I actually have decided that I really do NOT want to play the game ahead of release. Yes it could be interesting and fun, but then at launch you've already done the start a good many times and the game looses its magic (for me at least).

Finish your testing already ANet , or wake me on the day of release ? :D

You dont have to start the storyline, do some WvW... thats what Im going to do at least, if I get access.

Grats to those who got an invitation!! :'( :'( :'(

I'd probably spend most of my time playing around with the character creation ... at least a couple of hours on that facet alone.

Actually sucks, I have to work 9 - 6 then study 7 - 9/10 and only get 2 days off in the week. Going to be tough....

Bah you looney! I meant GW2, was reading the Diablo3 feedback and actually typed Diablo3 first, then had to fix and missed the 3... I shall go hang myself now...

Ai ai Nima, *No Comment*

I think I will rather wait for the game, the D3 beta has given me enough to tide me over till GW2 launches. I really don't want to see to much, Ive even started skipping Shadow's vids :P

I think it would be a good idea if those who managed to get a GW2 beta invite formed a small little South African community and kept in touch with each other. That way they can compare notes on what they have tested so far, see how the game performs on various SA ISPs and line speeds, etc.

I'm sure the beta client available is pretty big, and perhaps not all the beta testers are able to download that before the weekend and therefore could share the files with other testers in their area.

Hmmm, sounds almost like you have been given 1 of those precious things O_O.

NDA dude. You're not allowed to discuss it with anyone.

Ok and so what? I suggested that those who are in the GW2 Beta form a community among themselves in order for them to give ArenaNet feedback on how the game performs in South African standards so that the rest of us can enjoy a great game that has taken into account our situation when it finally does get released.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't NDAs usually state that those who sign it are not allowed to discuss GW2 information with those OUTSIDE of the beta? Otherwise people in-game together technically aren't allowed to talk to each other.

It pisses me the hell off that people SELL their keys for ~$60-$150, and some idiots will buy it. If they did more homework they would have known to just wait until 10 April and spend those money on a full copy instead of a beta only. Those ppl that sell these keys make me so angry, there are ppl that really really would have wanted a key!

A fool and his money will soon be parted. If no-one bought no-one would sell, so don't get angry and the seller get angry at the buyers. Like the dude who paid $1500 for a copy of MW3 just to get it a few days early so he could play by himself.
